The similarities between Chris Evans and his superhero avatar Captain America are aplenty. Whether it be fighting for the good of the world (Evans’ Donald Trump digs would be Steve Rogers approved) or their clear distaste for modern technology, there’s a reason why Chris plays the Cap so efficiently. Case in point his latest tweet. “Dear All Technology, Remember the 90’s when you just WORKED??? I don’t need a ‘smart’ feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car. You’re a major pain in all of our asses. You’re not worth it. Signed, Everyone,” Chris had tweeted.
Evans’ Avengers: Endgame co-star Robert Downey Jr. could not help himself and brought out his inner Tony Stark aka Iron Man, who is known to troll Steve Rogers at every chance he gets. Enlisting the help of his science bro Mark Ruffalo aka The Hulk, RDJ tweeted, “Hey, @MarkRuffalo looks like Cap needs a little tutoring from the science bros.” In turn, Mark too joined in on the funny banter train as he referenced back to the “language” running joke from Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Mark tweeted, “Call or DM us whenever you need assistance, @ChrisEvans. Also language.”
Meanwhile, the trio features in Avengers: Endgame trailer as they seek to find a way in which they can undo Thanos’ snap of fingers. Fan theories have suggested time travel as well as the quantum realm theory, but we will have to wait until the release of the movie (April 26, 2019) to see how it all unfolds.
