Vishal Vashishtha, confirms the development saying, “Not only it is a healthy practice to get into the skin of my character and behave the way Bitto is known for, but I myself also enjoy romantic films. And what’s better than enjoying romantic films on the set during the breaks. My team has started calling break times as movie screening time.”
Sony TV is all set to entertain its viewers with their latest offering Jaat Ki Jugni starring Vishal Vashishta and Madirakshi Mundle. The story revolves around two completely opposite personalities, falling in love. The male protagonist Bittu (Vishal Vashishtha) disagrees with love stories having a sad ending, for he represents the rebellious nature of today’s youth. He wants to change the popular belief with his own, that every love story must have a happy ending only.
While on the other side, Munni (Madirakshi Mundle) lives in the shadows of her brothers. A life which is highly protected, make believe and devoid of any men. When the path of Independent carefree Bittu crosses with timid & shy Munni there is certain spark in the love story, thus making Jaat ki Jugni a crackling romantic saga. To fit into the role of a die hard carefree romantic guy, Vishal has made it mandatory for him to watch romantic movies. Fascinated with this idea, Vishal himself has made it a mandate to organize for hit romantic film screenings on the set too as part of his preparation.
“It is a routine that Vishal watches the classic Bollywood romantic hits on the set of Jaat Ki Jugni whenever there’s a break. On set, he behaves like Bittoo and does everything possible that matches Bittoo’s personality. The unit members also sometimes join him in watching movies on set during the breaks,” informs an insider.
Helmed by TV Producer Rashmi Sharma, the show comprises of fine actors like renowned TV faces, Rinku Karmarkar, Yash Tonk, Richa Soni and Rakesh Pandey amongst others.
While Vishal was last seen on &TV’s Gangaa, Madirakshi rose to fame with her stint as Siya on Star Plus’ Sia Ke Ram.
