Salman Khan sniffs camphor to keep swine flu at bay

After Sonam Kapoor was detected with swine flu, the team ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ shooting in Rajkot are taking extra care to stay safe.

Sooraj Barjatya, Salman Khan and the whole unit are shooting in Gondal Palace, which is about 40 kms away from Rajkot. After Sonam’s detection, the entire unit have been tested. A source informed Mumbai Mirror, “After Sonam left, the entire unit was tested. We’re waiting for the results and have been told to wear protective masks.”

The report also says that actor Salman have been taking every preventive measure possible and also following orders of Kumud Kumari, Maharani of Gondal. And it is on her suggestion; the actor is undergoing some natural medication. The source told the daily, “The royals have a homemade remedy for the virus which involves sniffing a mixture of camphor and cardamom. Ayurvedic drinks and homeopathic pills are being served on the sets.”

‘Ranjhanaa’ lady Swara Bhaskar, who plays Salman’s sister told, “Shooting is on in full swing. We rehearse with masks on and only take them off when facing the camera.” The team has their schedule set till March 4 after which they will be back in Mumbai.
