Guess what Indian Barbie doll shies away from? It is excessive media attention. Katrina Kaif, even though comes from a profession where hawking eyes and attention on every move is a part and parcel; she doesn’t enjoy undue attention.
Katrina holds the view that she already gets a lot of attention so she doesn’t need to go out of her way to get more. In an interview to Hindustan Times, Kaif was quoted, “The nature of my profession is such that we attract attention all the time. But I feel that you don’t need to actually plan or devise a way of getting unnecessary attention.”
Umm! Point noted Kat! But we are wondering is this directed or hinted at someone in particular? We know Katrina likes to keep her personal life off the radar and interacts with media only when professional commitment is concerned. For work she doesn’t really mind being watched closely. She feels it benefits the film she is part of.
Speaking of which, the actress is extremely excited about her upcoming film, Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor with Aditya Roy Kapur. She was off late shooting in the capital city and says she just loves the vibe Delhi offers to her. She has been in the city for close to a month and hasn’t been around much, as mostly they shot indoors.
The film is an Indianized take on Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations. And seen in all praises tone for “Fitoor”, Kat has great expectation from it! So do we, right?
