“I would love to be a part of the Bengali film and television industry.” – Tina Dutta
The cute looking Tina Dutta needs no introduction as we have loved her as Meethi and Iccha in Colors’ mega drama Uttaran!
Now that the show has gone off-air after entertaining us for almost 7 years, we speak to the beautiful lady about what she is upto these days?
Tina said, “I am spending time with my family, reading books, exploring new places and most importantly, pursuing my hobby – painting! I love painting portraits. Apart from that I have recently been experimenting with cooking new dishes.”
So are there no plans of returning on television in the near future?
The actor quipped, “Well I have been approached for films and television shows and I am going through scripts. I am hopeful of taking up something soon. Uttaran not only helped me get fame in India but also internationally. It feels great to be loved by fans even after the show is off-air. Fans keep messaging me on social media sites and I would just like to say that their love and blessings mean a lot to me.”
Elaborating further, she stated, “Personally speaking, I would love to be a part of the Bengali industry be it films or television shows… but on the whole I would love to play my age on screen.”
We wish you luck for your future endeavors Tina!
