The chirpy and vivacious actress from Himachal Pradesh has tediously shadowed her way upon the success ladder and now the invisibility cloak has finally come off for her. Kangana Ranaut has worked really hard to reach where she is today and with her go-getter attitude she is going to reach new heights. The lady has bagged two National Awards and is now one of the most sought actresses in tinselville.
In the recent past, some people have said that she is superior to her contemporaries because of her acting capabilities. Ask the actress how she feels upon being at the top and she chirps, “I was invisible for the longest time and at that time no one really cared for me. If I have survived that, then I can survive anything. I am really happy with what I am today. I don’t have any possessiveness about the place where I am today. There are many ups and downs in life. Luckily today I am in my upward phase, so I am enjoying it. However, I don’t have any arrogance about it, I am the same person who I was earlier and I’ll be the same person always.”
“Queen” of hearts confidently added, “One of the best things of being at the top is that I don’t have to fight for anybody’s attention now. No lead actress can say this with confidence. Generally actresses seek the attention of every top director and lead actor. I am not saying that all the actresses do that, but by and large most of the actresses. I also may not be accurate when I say this but, most of the mainstream films go to the heroes and it’s the Hero that takes most of the final calls, so it’s nice to be in their good books for these actresses. However, I don’t have that attitude. I feel this is what I have earned in these 8 or 9 years in Bollywood.”
“I am proud that I work as a single unit and I am not dependent on anyone. If I have to do a film on my own tomorrow, then I feel I can do it. Today, I have a multi-cast project like Suspect X, followed by a women-centric film with Hansal Mehta and a few others also, so for me I am ok with any role and I don’t have to be dependent on anyone”, said the Tanu Weds Manu actress and signed off.
