Honey Singh appears at Nagpur Police Station for investigation in obscenity case

In December 2014, an obscenity case was registered against Yo Yo Honey Singh by Anand Pal Singh Jabbal in Nagpur. The rapper-singer appeared at the Pachpaoli Police Station, Nagpur, on Sunday, to complete formalities as per the High Court directives.

Jabbal had filed an FIR against Singh for allegedly posting obscene songs on social networking platforms. The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court had asked him to appear at the Police Station by March 2.

According to Nagpur Today, Honey Singh stayed at the police station for 10 minutes to complete the formalities. However, the cops there were busy getting photos clicked with the rapper and even called their family members and there was no investigation done.

The rapper was off the radar for a while and marked his comeback this year with ‘Birthday bash’ from Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend.

The question now is will Honey Singh face jail time in the obscenity case?
