Remo D’Souza’s next, a superhero film starring Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandes, will finally take off in July. Earlier the film was to take of in April but it hit a few roadblocks. Now the film will go on floors this July.
Initially, Dilip Kumar’s grand-niece Sayesha was supposed to play the lead opposite Tiger but she chose Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ over this film. The maker then approached Jacqueline Fernandes with the part, which she happily accepted. They also locked a catchy title, ‘Turbanator’ during this period.
But, Sayesha leaving the film and Jacqueline coming on board isn’t the only reason for the delay. Remo has also been very busy with ABCD 2 and a few other assignments. He wanted to have a clear schedule before starting the film. Remo confirms, “Yes, the film will now take off in July.”
Tiger will be seen playing the role of a Sikh superhero in Turbanator, while Jacqueline will play a Bharat Natyam dancer. In typical superhero fashion, Tiger will rescue Jaqueline from a bunch of baddies.
Expect some serious dancing & gravity defying action from this one!
