Elephants, horses and camels make it to ‘Bajirao Mastani’ shoot

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ team is in Jaipur to shoot for a war sequence for the movie. It is said that the makers have spent a lot of money to shoot this sequence and elephants, horses, camels and over thousand junior artists will be a part of it.

The crew will shoot these extravagant scenes at Sambhar, Amer Fort, Raigad and Kanota Fort. The last time we saw a war scene with elephants, camels and horses was in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ in 2008. It will be interesting to see such a scene once again seven years later. What do you think?

Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of Bajirao in the movie, landed in the Pink City on Monday. His leading lady Deepika Padukone, who is in Delhi shooting for ‘Tamasha’, will join him soon.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ revolves around Maratha warrior Peshwa Baji Rao, essayed by Ranveer, and his second wife Mastani. It also features Priyanka Chopra who plays Kashibai, Bajirao’s first wife. It also features Aditya Pancholi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Tanvi Azmi.

It is scheduled for a December 25 release.
