Sonam Kapoor-starrer “Dolly Ki Doli” has managed to rake in Rs.10.75 crore within three days of its release. The movie grossed Rs.2.55 crore on the first day.
The movie is expected to cash in at the box office counters owing to the strong word of mouth.
Trade experts said that the business grew over the weekend with a 30 per cent rise on Saturday and 90 per cent on Sunday.
Joginder Tuteja said, “Dolly Ki Doli shows very good growth on Sunday (30-40 per cent) early estimates – it has collected over 4.75 Crores+. Final numbers awaited.”
Jaspal Dhingra, who is distributing the film in Punjab, said “Families are loving the film. Especially the music is a rage at all weddings across the state. The film has grown by over 30 percent on a day by day basis and it will have a long run at the theatres.”
Directed by Abhishek Dogra, the movie also features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Rajkummar Rao. It revolves around a conwoman who robs her grooms on the wedding night and runs away.
