Akshay Kumar has been part of the “Hera Pheri” franchise since their first movie came out in 2000. The third part of the franchise will soon go on floors now, but Khiladi Kumar won’t be a part of it. Buzz is that the actor had a fall out with the makers over remuneration issues.
It was previously reported that Akshay was not approached for the movie. Later it was said that the actor did not like the movie. However, according to a report by Mid-Day, it is said that the actor had asked the makers to pay him Rs.50 crores as his fee and the makers couldn’t agree to it.
“Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal agreed to what was being offered to them but Akshay wanted an astronomical amount. So, the makers had no option but to find another actor. The film was anyway delayed due to several rounds of conversation with him,” a source said.
“Hera Pheri 3” also features Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, who were last seen together in “Dostana”. The movie will be directed by Neeraj Vora, who helmed the second part “Phir Hera Pheri”.
