Deepika Padukone is ready to start a foundation to promote mental health care on March 21. And she has name it ‘Live Laugh Love’.
Last year, the actress shocked as all by opening up about her depression and anxiety attacks she faced personally. Since that time, she had shown eagerness to start an organisation which will fight social stigma attached to it.
The date that has been chose to start the foundation is very special because that was the day she decided to seek professional help when she had anxiety attack. As per Mumbai Mirror report, source close to Deepika said, “It is too early to discuss the scale on which the foundation will be built and reveal other details associated with it. All that Deepika is sure about right now is that she wants to start it on March 21. That day has a special significance for her as it was on this day that she decided to seek professional help last year.”
Though the actress is having a busy schedule with two films –‘Tamasha’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ in hands, Deepika met several mental health specialists. With this foundation, Deepika wants to encourage people to seek professional help and not shy away when a personal crisis hits.
