Chivalrous Shahid comes to Alia’s rescue in UK’s bitter cold!

Let the world say what they want to, question her GK, make fun memes on them and what not! But this young, talented actress deserves accolades for taking the jokes in her stride, and shining past all with her admirable body of work, with every passing day. Her performances in films like Highway, 2 States made the film industry take notice to her talent. This vivacious and bubbly actress is yet again ready to rule the roost with her soon to be released film, Shaandaar. Alia Bhatt surely is on a roll, and how!

Shedding light on the beautiful camaraderie the actress shares with his co-actor from the film, Shahid Kapoor, Alia has much to share. “It took us (Sasha and me) at least a week or so to break the ice between us. This started when we were taking horse-riding classes together, along with his brother Ishaan, in UK. While doing that, the three of us would often land up at a café and have a cup of coffee. He’s the first actor I have actually gotten along with so much on the set” the actress says.

Speaking about how ‘sweet’ Shahid is, Alia adds, “He took really good care of me. When we went to UK I was completely unprepared for the cold. One day on the sets I was shivering with cold, and he came and put his nice, thick green-colored, Canada Goose jacket around me. I loved it as it kept me warm and cosy. After shooting, I returned it back to him. The next day, he knocked at my door and gave me the same jacket so I told him, ‘That’s so sweet, you have given me your jacket… you don’t need it?’ He just smiled and went away, till I saw him wearing the same jacket on the sets. So Shahid went and bought me the same jacket and gifted it to me. It was a very thoughtful gesture. From them on we were called Beavis and Butthead (an American animated sitcom based on two socially incompetent, rock-loving teenage wannabe delinquents) on the sets.

Leaves us in no doubt why these two get along like a house on fire!! Super sweet, aren’t they…
