Bepannaah: Jennifer Winget says, ‘Harshad Chopda is one of the co-stars who has handled me so well’

Bepannaah starring Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda went off air just recently amidst huge cry by their fans. The show had premiered earlier this year, and due to low ratings, the channel had to drop it unlike Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka which was shifted to the digital platform. In a LIVE interaction during their last days, Jennifer and Harshad’s bond was unmissable. The two shared screen space for the first time and AdiYa as a pair was much loved by the audience.
Speaking about her camaraderie with Harshad and how supportive he was as a co-star, Jennifer said, “Harshad is one of the co-actors who have handled me so well. I sometimes used to not agree with certain dialogues, and Harshad would exactly know what dialogues I’m not comfortable with. Thus, he would not only improvise on his own dialogues but would also do that for me.” Aww, now, this is a bond to cherish for lifetime, isn’t it?
Meanwhile, speaking about the show’s end, Jennifer in an interview with HT said, “The show ended in seven months and I think we could have given it a better ending, as I felt it was a bit abrupt.” About not moving digital, she stated, “I can speak for myself. For me, this show was conceptualised for the television audience. There is something sweet about a short lived journey and dragging it (the show) may eventually end up ruining it. I went with my instinct and took a decision.”
