Barun’s New Zee TV Show Is Shaping Up Well

Barun’s New Zee TV Show Is Shaping Up Well

It is good to note that Barun Sobti has decided to return to TV. He will soon be seen in a Zee TV limited crime series produced by BBC Worldwide (makers of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan). Barun fans who have been waiting for their fav star to return had got a brief glimpse when he did a short new version of Is Pyaar ko Kya Naam for the web. An official associated with the new ZEE project expressed satisfaction with the output and hoped that audiences will shower love and blessing on them. There are talks about Barun’s other projects as well but since we have not got any confirmation we will refrain from reporting on them.
While Barun’s debut Bollywood project did not do too well, we hope that his other pending film projects (22 Yards and Satra Ko Shaadi Hai) get release for we would love to see our fav rock the big screen just like Karan Singh Grover.
Also today the earlier barrier between film and TV actors is now passé, when Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan can do TV fiction then surely our Barun can easily do both. And most importantly with the project being limited in nature it will give him enough time to take care of his health (one of main reason for leaving Is Pyaar and also do films). If proper planning is done dates of both will not clash.
We surely hope that Barun is able to break the jinx that limited series in India still suffer from. Neither Yudh nor 24 season 1 delivered on the ratings front despite having Bollywood A listers on board. Barun has the added advantage that he is a known TV face with a very strong youth connect. And it is this TG which will be ready to accept story apart from saas bahu. Also Barun unlike above B Town superstars does not really have an image problem. It was said that certain fans were not comfortable seeing one of the most popular actor of our times suffer from neuropsychological disorder on screen.
We are really looking forward to see Barun essay a cop, it will be a completely departure seeing him shooting bad guys on the street, rather romancing his woman. A real actor always does different kind of roles. We surely hope that besides the high octane action (We guys ka bhi khayal rakh) classic Barun romance is given due attention.
In closing Barun while wishing you all the best for your upcoming venture, we would request you to return to twitter so your fans can have direct access with you.
