When SRK does it, he does it grand and with style! So when team Dilwale kick-started their international promotions today, it was with much fanfare. And doing the ‘Badshah’ way, Shah Rukh Khan became the first Bollywood celebrity who appeared on ‘This Morning’ show – a British daytime television programme that is broadcast on ITV. Hosted by Eamonn Holmes and Holly Willoughby, the show website had a brief description that stated SRK as the George Clooney of Bollywood, “He’s the second highest earning actor in the world and is the George Clooney of Bollywood cinema – we’re joined by Shah Rukh Khan who tells us how he copes with fame, his celebrity fans and being recognized all over the world.”
SRK spoke about how Bollywood films are becoming more popular around the world, and quoted, “We have started making cuts for non-traditional audiences.” SRK also shared on his Twitter account, “The day starts with a warm welcome & breakfast with @itvthismorning @hollywills @EamonnHolmes thank u & on we go!”
SRK is also accompanied by Kajol, Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan in London to promote their upcoming flick directed by Rohit Shetty.
We are proud of you SRK!
