Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif would have marked their first collaboration in a film had things worked out for the two during Street Dancer 3D. As known already, it was Katrina and Varun who were initially roped in for the movie, however, things did not work out for Katrina and hence she had to opt out. Her opting out paved way for Shraddha Kapoor joining the franchise once again. However, there were constant reports that her exit was rather sudden and abrupt.
Varun, a good friend of Katrina went on to reveal in an interview with Mid-Day how Katrina wanted to do the film and had also requested to postpone the dates, however, a lot of arrangements were made and the logistics did not allow for last moment changes. Hence, it was because of the dates and lack of time that she had to opt out of the film. Dhawan also went on to say how she made her exit very maturely and with utmost respect as she called Varun to say that she will have to exit the film. Dhawan added further how this meant a lot to him and he is sure the two will work together soon.
This will be Varun, Shraddha, and Remo D’Souza’s second project together after the hit that ABCD2 has been. The movie is said to be one of Remo’s most ambitious project and Varun also revealed how the film might be in 4DX format. Further, Varun also expressed his happiness about collaborating with Shraddha and said how this is like a reunion for the three of them.
