Tubelight: Salman Khan is heartbroken in the song Tinka Tinka Dil Mera
Salman Khan starrer Tubelight is one of the most anticipated movies this year. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the movie is all set to hit the theaters on June 23, 2017.
After Radio and Naach Meri Jaan, the new song titled Tinka Tinka Dil Mera is finally out.
The song’s lyrics are heartachingly beautiful and will instantly strike a chord with you. The soulful track personifies the pain of separation between the two brothers oh-so-aptly. With a few glimpses of late veteran actor Om Puri, Salman Khan is seen as a heartbroken mess in the song.
His vulnerability and pain can be felt through his actions and singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice adds to this beautiful melody. Pritam is behind the soul-stirring music of the movie.
Interestingly, Kabir Khan recently revealed that Akshay and not Sohail was the first choice to play Salman’s brother in the movie. He said, “Instead of a real brother, I thought we should get another actor and create the chemistry on screen. That was while we were developing the script, and before we could decide, I was convinced by Sohail. Maybe, with another actor, I would have had to spend time and create the chemistry that Salman and Sohail share.”
Salman too confirmed the same and admitted, “They wanted someone bigger so that we could crack the number game and earn more at the box office.”
However, Salman was keen on working with Sohail because it would be easy to translate their equation as brothers on screen too. “I wanted to be really comfortable, and honestly, with Sohail, I didn’t need to act too much. The emotions came automatically. So when you see the tears in the film, sometimes, they are my own emotions as a brother,” reveals Salman.
Tubelight is produced by Salma Khan & Salman Khan and directed by Kabir Khan. It also stars Sohail Khan and Zhu Zhu in pivotal roles. It is co-produced by Amar Butala.
