Tiger Shroff is on a roll. The actor, who recently wrapped up the shoot of his film Munna Michael which is directed by Sabbir Khan, has today announced his new film.
Tiger took to Instagram and posted the first poster of his new movie – Rambo which will be helmed by Siddharth Anand. Rambo is the Indian remake of Hollywood film of the same name that starred Sylvester Stallone.
The first poster was shared by Tiger on Instagram with a caption that read, “Grew up on this character, humbled and blessed to step into his shoes years later. #RamboRemake. #greatestactionheroofalltime #legend #irreplacable #rambo.”
The talented actor also quoted to a daily about the film. He said, “Being a martial artist and a huge action movie buff since childhood, this all seems very surreal, and I’m very grateful for this opportunity. By no means do I believe I can replace the legendary Sylvester Stallone; however, I do feel that somehow this is something I’ve been preparing for since childhood.”
Talking about the remake, Anand told a daily, “Rambo is one of the most iconic action blockbuster films from my generation. I grew up looking up to heroes such as Stallone, and in a time where the Indian industry is lacking action characters of Rambo’s caliber, this is a perfect time to introduce Tiger in this role.”
Reportedly, the film is to begin by February next and the movie is slated for a late 2018 release.
