Tiger Shroff: I wanted to make my own identity and not just be Jackie Shroff ka beta

Tiger Shroff is currently busy with the promotions of Punit Malhotra’s Student of the Year 2 and although he is just a few films old in the industry but Tiger has managed to carve a niche for himself in the industry. From Heropanti to Baaghi, to SOTY2, Tiger has proved that he is one of the hardest working actors of his time, and his fan following has only multiplied since his debut film, thanks to his good looks, dancing skills and of course, love for fitness.

And unlike his daddy Jackie Shroff who is bindaas and on the face, Tiger comes across as a rather quiet person and taking about the same, Tiger informed DNA, “I am more like momma (Ayesha Shroff). My sister, Krishna is more like my dad. Dad is so bindaas. He doesn’t care about what people think. I am uptight and focused. My father was born a star. On the other hand, I had to work hard to get out of his shadow and make my own identity. I didn’t want to just be — Jackie Shroff ka beta.”

But unlike other actors and his contemporaries, Tiger is not competitive at all and he only wants to focus on his work and goals and not waste time seeing what others do. “I am a race horse. I have huge goals and dreams. I do not have time to spend my energy looking left or right. There is no time for detours (read as, see what others are doing) because I have to look straight ahead at the finishing line, Tiger said.

After SOTY2, Tiger Shroff will next be seen in the third installment of Baaghi titled Baaghi 3 opposite Shraddh Kapoor. SOTY2 will hit the screens on May 10, 2019.
