We are predicting some thunderstorms in Mumbai next week for the God of Thunder is scheduled to arrive in the city next week. Chris Hemsworth is making his way to India next week. The Thor: Love and Thunder actor is making his way to the country but sadly, it has nothing to do with the Marvel movie. Instead, the Aussie actor is expected to touch down in Mumbai to film a few scenes for his upcoming non-MCU movie that has been written and produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Russo Brothers.
For the unversed, Hemsworth is starring in an online streaming platform movie helmed by Sam Hargrave. Hemsworth was in the country previously to shoot scenes in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The actor is expected to return to the locations to film a few scenes for the same project. Sources told Mid-Day that he will be seen filming in Dharavi and Byculla, and in a few pockets of Ahemdabad again. Hemsworth will be in India starting October 20. The team’s India schedule is spread across a week.
“The team will shoot at the places they had covered the first time around, including Dharavi and Byculla in the city, and a few pockets of Ahmedabad. They may also have a brief two-day stint in Indonesia. If all goes as planned, it will be a wrap before October 30,” the insider told the daily. The project also stars Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee and Pankaj Tripathi.
We wonder if Hemsworth would stay back and witness the Diwali celebrations in the country. We sure would love to see him dress up in the Indian attire and light up a diya. Meanwhile, the actor will reprise his role as Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. Hemsworth will return to the Thor franchise with Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson by his side.
