Sushant Singh Rajput’s calendar is full as he has several movies lined up. He will be soon be seen in Raabta which is slated to release on June 9, 2017. SSR will start shooting for Chanda Mama Door Ke, where he will be seen playing the role of an astronaut. Sushant also has a thriller film titled RAW.
Now as per a leading tabloid, the talented actor is all set to play a dacoit in a film directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The film will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Talking about it, a source close to the development of the film stated to the tabloid, “Sushant is playing a dacoit. The film will be shot in the Chambal ravines and will roll by the year-end. Prep has begun and the team is excited.”
The film will be set in the 1970s and will be based around the Chambal dacoits. The shooting is likely to get wrapped by February 2018.
Sudip Sharma, who has co-written the film added, “Some of them have more than 80 murder charges on them. Everyone has heard horror stories about the dacoits of Chambal but I’ve realised the reality is quite different from what Hindi films portray. We aim to capture that reality.”
