Tom Holland has been playing the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man for a couple of years now. We first saw Tom’s version of Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War (2016) where the underoos became the highlight of the film. We got to know more in detail about his life in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). We also cried ugly tears when we had to say goodbye to him in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and rooted like crazy when he came back in Avengers: Endgame.
Given the repercussions of defeating Thanos, Peter now has to move on as we see what he is up to in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But before we hit the theatre screens to watch the film, a young fan narrated an incident when Tom came to her rescue and became a real-life Spider-Man. Holland was busy signing autographs for fans and when he saw the young girl, she was getting crushed by the adults around her. After the fan stated that she was having a panic attack, Tom immediately sprung into action and aided the fan by telling her that he’s got her while asking the other fans to back up.
The fan took to Twitter to write, “It’s okay I got you I got you” @TomHolland1996 This was absolutely INSANE and should NEVER happen….my neck was literally against the barricade with 30 grown men behind me pushing…. ridiculous how people act like you’re not only endangering fans safety but Toms as well.”
