eerja star Sonam Kapoor and producer Atul Kasbekar have split their ways when it comes to professional partnership. Rumours are abuzz that Sonam, whose work was managed by Atul’s agency, has now signed a new agency managed by Madhu Mantena.
Sonam was apparently quite unhappy with the work she was being offered lately. Besides, Atul’s agency got busy with their next film, Tumhari Sullu, starring Vidya Balan.
However, a source close to the actress confirmed to us that the rumours of them having a tiff are baseless, however, they have mutually parted ways. “they (Sonam-Atul) have mutually parted ways and there are no bad vibes between them. They are very much friends,” said the source.
It is a known fact that Atul has been instrumental in giving Sonam one of the major successes of her career with Neerja. Sonam even won the Filmfare award in the Best Actor-Critic award category. All we can say is good luck, girl!
Sonam was lately snapped attending her cousin’s wedding in Abu Dhabi, looking ravishing! She also featured on the cover of fashion magazine Femina’s women special edition wherein she touched upon topics related to misogyny.
The 31-year-old actor will next start shooting for Veere Di Wedding in May, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar. Apart from this, she will also be seen playing the lead role in PadMan opposite Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte.
