Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited Chennai on Tuesday in order to cheer up for his team Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2019 who had a match with the Chennai Super Kings. However, Shah Rukh’s team lost in the hands of the Chennai Super Kings. Even after that, King Khan seems to be in a pretty good mood as he got the chance to meet certain people of the South Indian film industry during his brief stay in Chennai. One of them happens to be film director Atlee who had directed the superhit Tamil film Mersal featuring Vijay in the year 2017.
There has also been a rumour that Shah Rukh Khan may work in the remake of the Tamil film Mersal as he was being spotted in the IPL match along with the film’s director Atlee. Shah Rukh Khan took to Instagram in order to share a picture of himself as he left for Mumbai from Chennai. The actor posted a selfie of himself on his Instagram account where he bid adieu to Chennai and all the other people whom he met in the city.
Shah Rukh Khan is keeping his fans under suspense as he is yet to announce his next big upcoming project. The actor has backed out from the Rakesh Sharma biopic named Saare Jahan Se Achcha. Shah Rukh’s last film Zero was released in the month of December last year. The film co – starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Zero happens to be the most expensive film of King Khan’s career. The film, however, could not do well at the box office.
