It has been quite a few months since fans of Shah Rukh Khan have been eagerly awaiting the news of the next film. King Khan has been on a sabbatical after his last film Zero with Aanand L Rai. While the film didn’t leave an impact on people, Shah Rukh decided to take time off to spend it with his family and kids. In a recent interview, his wife Gauri Khan also mentioned that his break was much needed but she also hinted at his comeback soon on the celluloid.
Now, as per a report of Mid-Day, Shah Rukh might be in talks with producer Nikhil Dwivedi for the role of Bill in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film Kill Bill. Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill is a classic action Hollywood film that starred Uma Thurman and was the story of revenge. As per the report, Dwivedi has bought the rights of the film and is still in talks with SRK to play the antagonist. The film might be one of the movies Shah Rukh is looking at as he wants to work with director Anurag Kashyap.
A source quoted to Mid-Day, “Nikhil bought the remake rights earlier this year, and now, he is in the process of giving shape to the project. There has been talk about Shah Rukh stepping into the role of the antagonist, Bill. This is one of the many films that the actor is considering for his next as he is keen on working with Kashyap. However, the discussions are at the nascent stage. The team has yet to zero in on the leading lady who will breathe life into Thurman’s part.”
Well, if things work out, we might get to see Shah Rukh play the baddie again like he did in his initial films like Darr and Baazigar. But this time, it would be Hollywood style. While Shah Rukh has been on a break since Zero, the actor has been spending time with his little on AbRam and his elder kids, Suhana and AbRam. Suhana is now in NYU and SRK is back home taking care of little AbRam as revealed by Gauri in a recent chat. Fans are eager to see SRK back on the big screen.
