For all Salman Khan fans, here is some good news. Well, you won’t have to wait long before you catch a glimpse of Mr. Khan’s upcoming movie Tubelight. That’s right! As the actor, recently, wrapped up the shoot of Kabir Khan’s Indian historical war drama Tubelight, the first theatrical trailer of the movie will be released around the last week of April or early May, reports a leading daily.
Unlike Khan’s previous movies, Khan will be seen in an all-new avatar in the movie. Salman Khan will essay the role of a man from India who falls in love with a girl from China, which is played by a Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. The first schedule of the movie is extensively shot in Ladakh. Alongside Salman, Tubelight’s cast consists of Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu and Shahrukh Khan
Since the movie is set against the backdrop of the Sino-Indian war of 1962, there is a lot of VFX involved, which is why, the makers wrapped up the movie way before time. The movie is slated to release in June 2017.
Looks like Salman Khan is on a shooting spree as soon after wrapping up Tubelight, the actor is all set to start the shoot for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai opposite Katrina Kaif. Salman Khan is reported to travel to Morocco from March 4 to begin the shoot.
Salman Khan was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan, which was one of the highest grossing Indian films of all time.
