Heartfelt wishes and blessings started pouring-in after the news of Vinod Khanna’s death broke in the morning today.

Several actors took to their respective social media accounts and paid a tribute to the late actor in their own way.

Salman Khan, who shared a good relationship with the late Vinod Khanna, finally took to his Twitter account and paid an emotional tribute to him. The 51-year-old actor shared a throwback pic from the sets of Dabangg 2 where Salman can be seen sharing the frame with late Vinod Khanna.

He captioned the pic as, “R.I.P Vinod Khanna Sir. You will really be missed.”

Salman and Khanna worked together in films like Wanted, Dabangg and Dabangg 2. The Sultan star even considered Vinod Khanna his lucky mascot.

In one of the early interviews of Khanna, he revealed, “Salman is a very nice person to work with. A very good human being and I had worked with him even in the beginning of his career. It is a co-incidence that the films in which I have worked with him have done good business. I don’t know whether I am lucky for him, but he thinks I am his lucky mascot.”

Salman had paid a visit to the actor when he first got hospitalised almost a month ago.

Vinod Khanna passed away at 11:20 AM in the morning today at a hospital in Mumbai. Khanna was suffering from advanced bladder cancer for a very long time. He was born in Peshawar in present-day Pakistan and was a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentarian from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab.
