Zaheer Iqbal who will be seen in the upcoming film Notebook, is currently the new face in B- Town, thanks to Salman Khan. However, the newbie warns that it is not that easy to impress Salman Khan. He also added that Salman surely gives opportunity to the one who has the potential. Zaheer, who will be making his debut in Notebook along with another female debutant, Pranutan Bahl, is completely aware about the fact that he is amongst the privileged ones who have been mentored by Salman Khan. The actor admits that Salman Khan has been the best thing that has happened to him. Zaheer had been mentored by Salman continuously in the last six years.
For the unversed, Zaheer does not come from a filmy background but he had always dreamt of making it big in Bollywood. Zaheer is the son of Iqbal Ratansi who happens to be a friend of Salman Khan. Zaheer also revealed how he was being spotted by Salman Khan after he performed a skit in front of him. According to Zaheer, Salman asked him to remove his t shirt and make his body and the he will make him a hero. In fact, Zaheer Iqbal made his entry into Bollywood a long time back in the year 2014 when he served as an assistant director for Salman’s film Jai Ho.
Zaheer was finally roped in for Notebook in the year 2016. Zaheer conveys that Salman continues to look out for him and mentor him even now. Zaheer’s debut film, Notebook will be hitting the theatres on March 29, 2019.
