Salman Khan on stardom: It will fade away but SRK, Aamir and I will try to keep it going for few more years

Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan enjoy unprecedented fame, stardom and junta ka pyaar and when their films don’t work at the box office, more than these actors, it is their die-hard fans who are left dejected. In the last couple of years, Aamir, SRK and Salman have had films that have failed to do their magic at the box office. For an example, Salman’s Race 3, SRK’s Zero and Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan bombed at the box office and didn’t receive critical appreciation, too.

Now in a recent interview, Salman Khan opened up about the fear of their stardom fading away and how all the Khans will try their best to keep their mojo going on for the next couple of years. Salman Khan said, “Stardom will fade eventually. It’s a huge task to keep it going for such a long time. I guess Shah Rukh, Aamir, Akki, Ajay…we’re the only ones who have been able to pull it off for such a long time. We’ll try our best to keep it going for another few years. Just like in the case of all superstars, the box-office collection will come down to eight to ten percent. But it hasn’t started yet.”

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat and next, he will be seen in the third installment of Dabangg 3 along with Sonakshi Sinha and Sudeep and this Pranhudeva directorial wil lhit the screens on December 20, 2019. Moreover, Salman will soon start the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt. For Dabangg 3, it is being reported that Salman Khan will shed 8-10 kilos to perfect his role of a younger Chulbul Pandey.
