Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 3 has been in the news for quite sometime now, especially after ABCD 2 floored the audience with its stellar act. The Varun Dhawan starrer not only impressed the critics but also minted money at the box office.
Now, the third part in the ABCD franchise seems to have finally fallen in place. According to a popular daily, the choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza has finalized Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead for ABCD 3.
A source confirmed the news to a daily, “Salman starts Remo’s film right after he wraps up TZH. And the heroine has been finalised. Remo took his film to Jackie and she has liked the idea. She is out of the country, so once she’s back, he will sit down with her for a full script narration and lock her for the film.”
Interestingly, in the movie, which is an emotional film about a father-daughter relationship, we will see Salman Khan play a father to a 13-year-old girl with lof of dance elements in it. Khan will rehearse for the same before beginning the shoot of the movie.
“Salman and his daughter need to compete for a dance championship. Jackie plays the role of their dance teacher who helps them learn the ropes of different styles of dance forms,” reveals an insider.
He adds, “ABCD was a sleeper hit. ABCD 2 starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor and was the first dance film to do Rs 100 crore. ABCD 3 is getting bigger and needs a superstar for its third calling. Remo is extremely pleased everything has fallen in place.”
ABCD 3 is expected to release next year on Eid.
