It has been a common norm from the past few years for a Salman Khan film to come out on Eid. The star of Sultan has been giving his fans a treat on Eid every year to make it special for them. This year too, Salman is ready with his film, Bharat which will come out on Eid. Amidst all this, we already know that Eid 2020 slot has been booked by Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi which will bring him as a cop on screen. The release date was announced a while ago with the first posters of the film came out.
Many of Salman Khan fans thought that next year Eid wouldn’t have his film coming out as Akshay had booked the slot already. Now, as per the latest buzz doing rounds in tinsel town, this might actually be happening. Yes, as per a report in DNA, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah might be all set to release on Eid 2020 which would make it lock horns with Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. The interesting thing is that Salman and Akshay, who are great friends, will be clashing at the box office if these reports are to be believed. There were reports that Katrina will be a part of Sooryavanshi but there isn’t any official word and the leading lady is yet to be announced.
DNA’s source said, “If this happens, it will be a win-win situation for the audience as they will be spoilt for choice and can look forward to not one but two star-studded films during Eid. But it will be interesting to see how the stand-off between Sallu and Kat pans out, considering both the actors are close friends.” Well, now things are surely going to go in favour of the audiences if this happens.
Meanwhile, Salman is gearing up to release the trailer of their upcoming film Bharat on April 24. Since the past 4 days, Salman Khan has been making his fans time travel through his looks and posters from Bharat. Bharat also stars Katrina Kaf, Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover. The teaser showcased five different looks of Salman Khan in different eras and hence, we can expect another look to be out soon. The film is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to hit the screens on June 5, 2019.
