Rishi Kapoor to come back to India just ahead of his birthday; says I have recovered well & I am feeling good


About 8 months ago, one of the most well-known and talented actors of India, Rishi Kapoor had left the country for the US to get treatment for his illness. With a message on Twitter to his fans, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor jetted off to New York and since then, have been staying at an apartment for the Mulk actor’s treatment. After a long wait, Rishi Kapoor has confirmed that he is trying to return to India just in time to ring his 67th birthday. With so many film actors and close friends visiting him in New York, fans have been getting glimpses of the 66-year-old actor.

In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, Rishi Kapoor mentioned that he has been feeling good and is under observation. The 102 Not Out star revealed that he has to be completely fit before returning to India. But yes, he stated that he will be back by August-end. Recently, his daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and her daughter Samara took for New York to spend time with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. They enjoyed a meal together at a restaurant where the Mulk actor appeared to be hail and hearty.

Rishi Kapoor said, “Yes, I am trying to return by August-end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back.” This surely is good news as the actor hinted at coming back before his birthday on September 4. A source close to the actor revealed that he is regularly visiting the hospital and that he is 100% cancer-free now.
