Ranveer Singh and team ’83 have been prepping up for the upcoming film, and it was only recently that they returned from a fortnight training camp in Dharamshala. Also present there were the likes of Kapil Dev, and others who were also a part of the iconic win in 1983. Looks like everyone has trained just about well and now, they are all set to take on a new journey as they will be heading to London to kickstart the schedule.
And, looks Kabir Khan is not going to leave any stone unturned in getting the film just about perfect as he is now planning to arrange an interaction between the actors and the West Indies team from 1983 world cup. The team includes the likes of Sir Vivian Richards, Gordon Greenidge, and Desmond Heynes. Ammy Virk told mid-day that the cast will be flying to London on May 27, 2019, and have a 10-day practice session in the British capital. He further revealed how the makers have been trying to get the West Indies players to be a part of these sessions
He further revealed how the idea here is to get first-hand accounts of their techniques and hence, the makers hope they can make themselves available for a few days. Virk further added how the director has chosen actors from across all industries to step in the shoes of the legends and after a few sessions with Balvinder sir already, they will now face them on the field.
