Randeep Hooda: If a woman enjoys sex, doesn’t mean she is a slut
Randeep Hooda, who is making his Television debut with the reality show MTV Big F, says that slut-shaming a woman who enjoys sex is incongruous.
While addressing the press conference held in the city, Randeep who is excited to be part of the TV show said, “The show talks to men that women are not an object of your desire, she is a person. If a woman enjoys sex, it doesn’t mean that she is a slut.”
Randeep, who was at the receiving end recently over his comment on the Gurmehar Kaur row, said that the young girl shouldn’t have gone through all of this while adding that he should have been more careful about his tweets.
Randeep was further quizzed as to why Bollywood celebrities don’t speak up against the system or the government like in the west. Responding to which Randeep said, “No matter which side of the coin you are, you are labelled again and again if we speak or support an establishment.”
When asked if the ban imposed on Pakistani artists post Uri attack was justified or not, the Murder 3 actor said, “I was very affected by the Uri Attacks. If you decide to isolate them [Pakistan] economically, we should do it culturally as well.
MTV Big F is a reality show which will bring to the viewers the deepest and the darkest fantasies and experiences of young Indians.
Randeep was last seen in biopic drama Sarbjit which also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadha.
