Priyanka Chopra is making India proud and how! The actor has been appointed as one of the jury members at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival which is scheduled to take place between April 19-30.

The Film Festival will be hosted by Michael Rapaport and has Amy Berg, Zachary Quinto, Sheila Nevins, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons and Melanie Lynskey among others, on the jury panel, according to a leading international news portal. The 34-year-old actor will judge the documentary and student visionary competitions alongside Olivia Thirlby, Ryan Eggold, Brendan Fraser and Ileen Gallagher.

PeeCee became popular in the West with her stint in Quantico where she played the role of Alex Parrish. 

Recently, Priyanka was on cloud nine after her maiden Marathi production Ventilator won three National Film Awards – for Best editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Director. The actor couldn’t contain her happiness and lauded her team for their efforts. She also shared a moving post on her Instagram stating that she wanted to do this for her father and that she believes with this, she has made her father proud.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka has wrapped up the shoot of her American TV show Quantico Season 2. She has also kick-started the promotion of her Hollywood debut Baywatch in the US.

PeeCee would be coming back to the country towards the end of April for a few days and is most likely to sign a Bollywood film after a year during her short visit to India.
