Prince Harry took to his and Meghan’s joint personal Instagram account to announce that he and Oprah Winfrey are teaming up for a cause. They are coming together as co-creators and executive producers for a mental health series that they will launch on Apple next year.
Along with the picture of his quote, he wrote: “We are excited to announce that The Duke of Sussex and Oprah Winfrey are partners, co-creators and executive producers on their forthcoming mental health series launching on Apple in 2020. The pair have been developing the series for several months and are looking forward to sharing such an important project on this global platform.”
Talking about the series, it will be a multi-part documentary show which will focus on both mental illness and mental wellness. With the same, they intend to inspire viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges they face and how one can equip with the tools to not simply survive but also to thrive.
The post also revealed that he has been working towards breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness to bring positive change in society. Also, the Royal family will open Frogmore House (Harry and Meghan’s wedding venue) to the public from May 28-30 as “part of the annual charity garden open days”.
