We recently reported that Alia Bhatt is featuring in a music video made by the Lamberghini hitmakers. The song is titled Prada. But we have now learned that the actress will be doing more than dancing in the video. It has now been revealed that Alia will be lending her voice for the song. It is no secret that the 26-year-old actress is a talented singer. From crooning Sooha Saha for AR Rahman, she has sung a few other songs for her movies. This includes Ikk Kudi for Udta Punjab, Samjhawan Unplugged from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Love You Zindagi for Dear Zindagi.
Joining The Doorbeen of the Lamberghini fame, Alia will be crooning her first non-filmy song. Given the updates we hear, it seems like another peppy song is in the making. We are already wearing our dancing shoes and cannot wait for the trio to just drop the song so that we could dance into the night.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the song has been shot already. Sources told the daily that the song was shot just before the singer flew to Ooty for Sadak 2’s filming. It has been directed by the famous Bosco Martis. “This is the first time that she is crooning a non-filmy song. Bosco (choreographer-turned-filmmaker Bosco Martis) has directed Alia,” confirmed their source. Speaking about the video, the insider spilled the beans that the song’s video features international back-up dancers, cars, an STD-booth and many other elements which give the vibe of the video.
“The catchy song features Alia dancing with international back-up dancers with car spare parts, bike tyres, an STD booth, photo-frames, radio set-pieces and a guitar, among other things, forming the backdrop,” the source said. Apart from the song, Alia recently concluded the Ooty schedule of Sadak 2. The actress recently took to Instagram to announce the Ooty wrap up.
