If you see the trailer of Vikramaditya Motwane’s Trapped, you might agree with us that it was in a way challenging to shoot in such situations. After watching the trailer, we got goosebumps thinking of the entire situation. Well, the filmmakers have released the making of the trailer.
The video surely surfaces out the challenges that the team and Rajkummar Rao might have faced. In the video, Vikramaditya Motwane said, “Trapped is a story of a man who’s stuck in a high rise without food, water and electricity. When I was done with the outline of the story, I was like we need a solid and a strong actor who can portray emotions without overcooking it. I was like Rajkummar is the guy.”
Rajkummar also opened up on his experiences of the shoot. He said, “I won’t ever torture myself like this and I won’t ever live on a cup of black coffee and carrots and only a few sips of water so that I don’t really die. I have pushed myself out of the limits as an actor. I don’t eat non-veg actually and it was there in the subconscious of my mind – the whole experience of 30 years of my life was coming in that scene – how I don’t eat non-veg and why I think it’s not right. There was a shot where we needed blood and there was prosthetic involved and I was like why do we need it, I’ll use my blood.”
Now, it’ll be interesting to see whether he’s able to mark his way to freedom or not!
