Filmmaker Madhu Mantena will be collaborating with two more producers, Namit Malhotra and Allu Aravind in order to produce the live – action trilogy movie Ramayana. According to latest reports, it is going to be a 500 crore budget movie which will be released in three languages namely Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. As per reports, Ramayana is going to be the most expensive movie ever to be made in the history of Tollywood. On the other hand, Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame and Mom director Ravi Udyawar will be also teaming up for the movie.
Ramayana is going to be a live – action movie which is going to be shot in 3D. Although the star cast of the movie has not been decided yet, it has been speculated that actors from Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood and the Punjabi film industry alike will be roped in by the makers. Moreover, the makers of Ramayana are said to target not only Pan India but also the global audiences. However, they are yet to reveal about the star cast, release date and other important details of the movie.
According to reports, the makers of Ramayana are aiming for a 2021 release of the first part of the trilogy. This also means that there will not be much gap between the release of the other two installments of the franchise. The planning for the upcoming project had been in progress for the last three years. The movie Ramayana will be produced under the banner of Geeta Arts in association with Prime Focus Limited.
