Lady Gaga sends Indian fans into a frenzy with Sanskrit tweet; netizens reply with ‘Om’ and ‘Radhe Radhe’

Amid breakup rumours with her boyfriend Dan Horton of three months, Lady Gaga tweeted in Sanskrit on Sunday. The ‘Shallow’ singer sent her Indian fans into a frenzy when her tweet was flooded with comments from Indian fans trying to decipher what Lady Gaga’s tweet actually meant. Gaga tweeted, “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.” The Sanskrit saying which means, “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all,” left many confused on Twitter.

While many speculated if this was Gaga hinting at new music, the religious section of netizens dropped comments like, ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Radhe Radhe’. One user wrote, googles if this means anything about new music in a different language.”

The guessing game will be underway for a bit as Gaga is yet to announce new music. Her music for ‘A Star Is Born’ was on a winning streak at the awards season earlier this year. Over the weekend, Lady Gaga hinted at her break up from boyfriend Dan Horton as she shared a picture with her bride-to-be friend and called herself ‘a single lady’. Dan and Gaga first sparked rumours in July when they were snapped kissing in public.

Just earlier this year, the hit singer had split from her ex-fiancé Christian Carino. Soon after, Gaga and her co-star Bradley Cooper were linked for their unmissable chemistry and their remarkable performance of ‘Shallow’ at the Oscars.
