Kedarnath: Namo Namo song shows Sushant Singh Rajput’s extraordinary journey as a pithoo

The first song from Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming directorial titled Kedarnath is out. Titled Namo Namo, the track is picturised on the lead actor of the film, Sushant Singh Rajput. In the film, SSR will be seen playing the role of a pithoo (a person who carries pilgrims on his shoulders to the temple). So, the song shows his journey as a pithoo and how much he enjoys the job. Sushant is seen as a Muslim guy, for whom religion is not a barrier and makes sure the devotees visit Kedarnath temple comfortably.

Namo Namo is sung by Amit Trivedi and the music is composed by the talented musician himself. The lyrics for the song are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. SSR tweeted the song stating, “आज #धनतेरस #Dhanteras के शुभ दिन पर, भोलेनाथ का नाम लेकर… आइये, #Kedarnath यात्रा का आरम्भ करते है, #NamoNamo: #SaraAliKhan @Abhishekapoor @rsvpmovies @RonnieScrewvala @gitspictures @pragyadav_ @ItsAmitTrivedi @OfficialAMITABH @ZeeMusicCompany”

Kedarnath marks the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Pragya Kapoor, Abhishek Kapoor and Abhishek Nayyar. Kedarnath also stars Nitish Bharadwaj, Alka Amin, Sonali Sachdev, Pooja Gor and Nishant Dahiya in pivotal roles. The pilgrimage love story is slated to release on December 7, 2018.

The trailer for the film was released a few days back and it has left a lasting impression on the movie lovers. This is the second outing of SSR and Abhishek after Kai Po Che!
