Aamir Khan is one of the stars in Bollywood who has the unique ability to bring stories that are unique and entertaining for the audience. On his birthday this year, Aamir announced his next film to be Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump’s official adaptation and titled it Lal Singh Chaddha. Helmed by Advait Chauhan, the film will star as the leading man and from the past few days, reports stated that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached as the leading lady. Amidst her busy schedule, Kareena landed in Mumbai a day back to shoot for her Tv show and then headed back to London.

As per a recent report in Bombay Times, Kareena Kapoor Khan has given the nod to play the leading lady opposite Aamir Khan in Lal Singh Chaddha. With this, Kareena and Aamir fans can gear up to see them one more time lighting up the big screen with their amazing chemistry. The report also stated that Viacom 18 will be backing Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha and the COO, Ajit Andhare also confirmed it to the daily. He mentioned that the team is happy to be backing Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha.

He said, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce our upcoming venture with Aamir Khan. For every cinephile out there, their must-watch list of films would be incomplete without Forrest Gump. To be able to adapt the classic for Indian audiences is a long-cherished dream for many of us. Knowing Aamir’s burning passion for this subject for many years, he is the perfect partner to bring to life this dream.” Meanwhile, Aamir had also announced om his birthday that the film will be shot in parts of North India and the recce is already going on for the same.

Amidst this, reports also came in that Gully Boy actor Vivek Garg also has bagged a role in Aamir’s Lal Singh Chaddha. The film will go on floors soon. Kareena and Aamir have done films like 3 Idiots, Talaash: The Hunt Begins together. Now, in Lal Singh Chaddha, the two actors will be seen romancing each other. Based on Tom Hanks film, Forrest Gump, Lal Singh Chaddha will hit the screens in 2020.
