Ever since Rishi Kapoor left for the USA for his medical treatment, the only means by which his zillion fans are getting a glimpse of this actor is via social media. Yes, thanks to social media, Neetu Kapoor keeps on updating Rishi’s fans with his photos and of course, posts with all the B-town visitors who drop down to visit the actor in New York. From Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Javed Akhtar, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt to Anupam Kher and others, a lot of B-town celebs have posted pictures with Rishi Kapoor and in the latest, we have filmmaker Karan Johar who visited Rishi Kapoor in NYC.

Today, Karan Johar took to social media to post a selfie with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor and alongside the picture, Karan’s caption read, “My absolutely favourite couple of Indian cinema….I grew up loving them and am so privileged to know them….strong…resilient and full of positivity! @neetu54 and chintuji are absolutely amazing and so full of love!! Thank you for your energy! Love you!!!” Later, Neetu Kapoor too penned a heartwarming note on Instagram as she thanked Karan for giving the tightest hug. The note read, “He gave the tightestttt Hug and the longesttt kiss n said half of this love is from his mom Hiroo sometimes simple words mean so big love love him #karanjohar #fulloflove#lotsoffun.” Back in September 2018, Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter handle to inform his fans that he is jetting off to USA for some medical treatment and since then, this veteran actor hasn’t come back to India.

Soon after, reports suggested that Rishi Kapoor is undergoing cancer treatment in New York and it was only a few weeks back that in an interview, Rishi Kapoor confirmed that he is now cancer free and after few more treatments, he will return to India. On the work front, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in the web-feature film Rajma Chawal and during an awards ceremony, Ranbir had said that his father is going through a rough phase in his life and during his troubled times too, his biggest concern is if he will get work after he returns to India
