Karan Johar aka KJo who is known for amazing blockbuster movies such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan among others has turned 47 today. The filmmaker cum judge cum host is celebrating his birthday in New York.
Recently, in an interview with DNA, Karan Johar opened on a lot of topics including mid-life crises and his kids among others. When asked about how he feels as he turned 47, he said that he was very excited about turning 40 as he thought that would be new innings of his life and which it did. Later, he went and remarked how so many interesting things such as the growth of Dharma (his production house) and kids Roohi and Yash happened. He also added how his kids are the reason why he is not lonely anymore. He concluded his answer by saying that he is quite excited as he has a long list to achieve before he turns 50 and he is also anxious as he thinks he has less time to spend with his kids.
When asked about ageing, Karan mentioned that he was indeed going through a mid-life crisis and he realized that he was growing older and that’s when a lot of colourful clothing came in his wardrobe. He said,”I realised I was growing older, so suddenly a lot of colour came into my wardrobe. All the hipster clothes, which maybe I am too old for came. I don’t care what others think. I am happy with the colours and designs. There are many thoughts in my head — fear, anxiety, excitement and acceptance of my mid-life crisis.”
