The director of the upcoming film The Suicide Squad who has been in many controversies in the recent times has kick started the shoot of the film which brings back classic actors from the original film like Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney. Now, the director has shared a heart-warming Instagram post where he shares the unique gift he got from his agent cum friend, Charlie Ferraro. James Gunn has seen a roller coaster ride in his career when he was asked to leave the Marvel film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and then given the responsibility of The Suicide Squad.
Interestingly, James Gunn was brought back on board for Marvel film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The fans were happy to know that the director is back after being fired from the director’s job of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. James Gunn received a very special gift from his agent cum friend, Charlie Ferraro. James Gunn got a comic book from his friend Charlie to mark the beginning of the film, The Suicide Squad’s shoot. This comic book is a rather special one. The comic book dates back to the year 1959 when it was first released.
It marks the DC’s first appearance with respect to a hardcore team of Suicide Squad which was totally different back then. The director is seen getting very emotional about the gift of the comic book from his friend Charlie Ferraro and say there could not be a better gift than this special comic book.
