Ram Gopal Varma has the most unconventional or if we may add the most ‘sexist’ way of wishing people. Recently, while extending a birthday wish to Tiger Shroff, Varma called him a bikini babe, leading to a furore on social media.
Many wondered what dad Shroff, who is also part of RGV’s upcoming movie Sarkar 3, had to say about this. Well, we finally have an answer.
Bindass Bhidu Jackie has clarified that he won’t fight RGV over the comment. “He [RGV] spoke about my son [Tiger] but that doesn’t mean I will go and fight with him,” Jackie said.
The senior Shroff was speaking at the launch of Ramesh Sippy Academy of Entertainment and Cinema yesterday. The actor was even asked his opinion on RGV’s recent insensitive Women’s Day tweet, to which Jackie said, “He [RGV] is a big boy. He knows what he is talking about… But I will not say such a thing about a lady. It’s his thinking.”
Earlier, Tiger graciously responded to the tweet saying that he cannot be half as macho as his father but he tried to express his individuality which perhaps may not be liked by all but to each his own. “I am not even half a man as my father is. He is the original hero. Even if I try I can’t be like him. But everyone has freedom of speech. He is a senior director, so, there’s not much I can say. I try to be my own individual and express my individuality. Some might appreciate my artistic expressions, some may not. To each his own,” Tiger said.
Targeting Tiger, RGV had earlier tweeted, “U are great at martial arts but if BRUCE LEE ever posed like a bikini babe like u he wouldn’t hav bcm BRUCE LEE..Please think.”
The director did not stop here, he later tweeted to Jackie Shroff, saying, “Hey @bindasbhidu all my tweets on @iTIGERSHROFF are purely as ur fan and not otherwise ..please tell this to @AyeshaShroff and him.”
