Gulabo Sitabo: Here’s why security was beefed up on the sets of Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s film

The news of Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana coming together for Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo had made all their fans happy because clearly, Big B and Ayushmann together are going to be a riot on screen. Well, thanks to Shoojit Sircar for bringing together these two talented actors, having directed both of them in his films- Vikcy Donor and Piku. It was only a few days back that Amitabh Bachchan kick-started the shooting of the film in Lucknow and as always, the legendary actor informed his fans on social media.

But looks like ever since the shooting of the film has started, the makers of Gulabo Sitabo are in for a panic and sleepless nights because on Tuesday, pictures of Amitabh Bachchan from the sets of the film were leaked online, that’s right! While the first day of the shoot was conducted at the Mahmoodabad Mansion in Qaiserbagh, in the film, Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of a landlord. Now, after Big B’s pictures from the sets was leaked online, according to a report, all the crew members of the film were questioned about how did the pictures got leaked and the security personnel, too were bashed for being careless and allowing a cameraman to enter the premises and click the picture. “An emergency meeting was called by Sircar sir and the producers to beef up the security at the shooting venues. The end result was that the shooting on Thursday had to be postponed for several hours while this issue was being sorted out,” as quoted by Times of India. “Now no one is allowed to carry mobile phones too inside the shoot location. Signs of ‘no recording’ and ‘mobile phones’ allowed have been put up everywhere,” added the source. In an interview, Ayushmann Khurrana had opened up on sharing screen space with Big B for the first time as he had said that he is nervous and excited at the same time to work with him.

Just after reaching Lucknow, Big B had penned a message on Twitter to inform his followers that he is all set to begin the shoot of Gulabo Sitabo as he wrote, “One done another begun .. travel, location change, look change, crew change, colleagues change, city change .. and STORY CHANGE ..From Lucknow today ‘GULABO SITABO ‘”. Later, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a photograph from the sets of the film and although the photo wasn’t of his look in the film, he was seen dressed in a kurta-pyjama, a blue jacket and an orange beanie. Gulabo Sitabo will hit the screens on April 24, 2020
