Geeta Kapoor of Pakeezah fame narrates her shocking story after son abandons her in the hospital

Veteran actress Geeta Kapoor was known for her role in the classic movie Pakeezah. However, several years later, the talented actress is in the news for an extremely sad reason.

Geeta Kapoor was admitted to the SRV hospital for failing blood pressure by her son Raja. However, when asked to foot the bill, Raja set out in the pretext of finding an ATM but never returned, even after a month. All attempts of contacting him and Geeta’s daughter went in vain as the hospital continued treatment and drew a bill of Rs 1.5 Lakhs.

Geeta revealed to a leading daily, “He used to beat me up as I did not approve of his philandering ways. He would give me food once in four days, and sometimes, even lock me up for several days. I was not ready to go to an old-age home, that’s why, he planned all this. He deliberately kept me hungry and I fell ill. Then, he got me admitted and fled.”

News is that Geeta’s son has also moved from his flat, making the search for him all the more difficult. Meanwhile, the hospital has now lodged a complaint against Geeta’s children.

Buzz is that good samaritans from the industry Ramesh Taurani and Ashoke Pandit have agreed to pay Geeta’s hospital bill.

Now, what do you think of that?
