Deepika Padukone has always been the one to make heads turn and there’s absolutely no denying that. She has always managed to get something new to the table while experimenting with her looks. From going bold at Cannes to wearing sneakers with a puffy gown, her style is ever-changing.
Yesterday was no different as she walked the carpet at MAMI in a monochromatic outfit by Gauri and Nainika. She undeniably grabbed a lot of eyeballs with the grandeur of the outfit. Her ensemble featured a white ruffled top with the ruffles creating a plunging V-neckline. The white blouse was tucked in matching black satin pants that cropped beneath her ankles. What made the outfit look different was the black trail that was added to the pants that gave a touch of femininity to the look. The trail was attached to the pants and it casually brushed the carpet with its extravagant length.
Ms Padukone let her outfit do the talking and accessorised the look with simple pearl stud earrings. Her glam was on point with a flawless base and bold smokey eyes. A pulled back textured bun completed the look.
We are in absolute awe of the makeup but we felt that her attire was very ill-fitted (especially the pants). And, while the look felt esthetically pleasing in the black and white photos, it did not do justice on the carpet.
